The Problem Isn’t the Problem…
One of my favorite quotes (yes, attributed to the clever Captain Jack Sparrow) is:
“The problem is not the problem. The problem is your attitude about the problem.”
It’s a little sarcastic, yes, but also profoundly true when it comes to conscious creation.
If you’ve been practicing manifesting and it’s felt like nothing’s working, I invite you to pause and gently ask yourself:
“Where has my focus really been?”
Not from a place of blame, but from curiosity and compassion.
You see, the Universe is always responding. And it’s not judging your thoughts or saying, “That’s a good one, I’ll give that to her” or “That’s bad, I’ll withhold this.”
It simply amplifies where your attention and energy go.
So if you’ve been spending more time thinking, talking about, or reacting to the challenges in front of you, it’s not your fault, but it is what the Universe hears. And it responds lovingly with more of the same.
But here’s the beautiful news: it doesn’t take massive effort to shift things.
A little more attention to what you do want.
A little more daydreaming about how it would feel if it were already here.
A little more faith that it’s unfolding.
Think of it like a teeter-totter. When you’re standing on the “problem” side and you start walking toward the middle, nothing seems to shift at first. It still looks like you’re stuck in the same position.
But the moment you step over into the other side, just a little further than halfway, it all starts to tip. You gain momentum. And suddenly, everything begins to change.
That’s how manifesting often works. It can feel like nothing’s happening… right up until everything is.
So no, the problem isn’t really the problem. It’s our attitude, our focus, and where we spend our precious energy.
To be a deliberate creator, it’s not about being perfect or positive all the time. It’s about being just a little more consistent, a little more hopeful, and a little more willing to believe before the evidence shows up.
That’s why one of my favorite truths is:
Credendo Vides – By Believing, One Sees.
Belief is the cornerstone of conscious creation. It’s the gentle power that moves mountains. And it’s always available to you, right now.
So, ask yourself this:
“What would shift for me if I gave just a little more of my attention to what I want, and a little less to what I don’t?”
You don’t need to get it perfect. You just need to tip the scales.
Your dreams are not far away. They’re waiting for you to believe again, just enough to see them come alive.
You are the creator. And the Universe is listening.
